Are you planning to sell items at eBay
but you can't figure out how to provide a picture of it? You need to place a picture of it
on the Internet and figure out the URL web address so that you can provide
it to eBay. This help file is only designed to help you in posting the
pictures. To get information on the actual process of posting and selling items you need to visit eBay's site.

It is assumed that you already have WS_FTP setup on your computer and the image(s) are already stored in a directory on your computer.
If you do not have WS_FTP then click here
to download it. This "lite" version is available free for personal use.
After you have downloaded and installed WS_FTP, you are ready to get started.
1. Activating your web space
If you have never set up space on our web server
for a web page you will need to do this now. The process is quite
simple. Go here to activate
your free space now. Follow the directions. Once this is done
you are ready to go to the next step.

Setting up WS_FTP
Open WS_FTP.
A "Session Properties" box will appear in the center of the screen. Click the
"New" button and enter the following:

Profile Name: My
eBay Pictures ( any descriptive name is OK )

Host Name: home.westpa.net

Host Type: "Auto
Detect"

User ID: enter your username

Password: enter your password

Put a check in the
"Save Password" box

Click the Advanced
Tab

Put a check in "Passive
Transfers"

Click "OK"
