1.
Create your Web Pages
Create your web site
and test it using whatever program you wish.
NOTE:
Make sure your main web page is called index.html
2. Activating your
web space
If you have never set
up space on our web server for a web page you will need to do this
now. The process is quite simple. Go here to
activate
your free space now. Follow the directions. Once this is done
you are ready to go to the next step. This needs to be done only
once!
3. Uploading
your Web Site
Once you have created
your web page(s) on your computer, they need to be uploaded (
copied ) to our server. Until you do that, nobody will be able to
see what a great job you have done. How you upload is largely
based on the product you used to create the pages.
If you created the pages by hand or
used a web design program like FrontPage Express that does not
allow you to upload, then you will have to use an FTP (File
Transfer Protocol) program. We suggest you try a program called
WS_FTP. It is available for downloading at numerous sites.
You can download it here. This "lite" version is available free for
personal use. For general instructions in uploading using WSFTP
If you used Front Page 2000,
NetObjects Fusion, etc to design your pages you are in luck
because they can upload the pages for you. Consult the
manufacturers manual or help files to upload.
